Li Yi Tong is a Chinese actress and singer born in Jinan City, Shandong, China. She is a graduate of Beijing Dance Academy, where she majored in Chinese folk dance. In addition to dancing, she is also proficient in calligraphy. Prior to becoming an actress, she was in the midst of opening a dance-inspired teahouse until she participated in a short film by her friends at film school. This experience sparked her interest in acting and led her to pursue a career in it.
